Paiements en ligne : 96% des Français craignent le piratage

Selon un sondage commandé par l’établissement de monnaie électronique TSI, 96% des Français craignent le piratage de leurs données bancaires lorsqu’ils paient sur internet avec leur carte bleue. Ce qui ne les empêche pas de plébisciter ce moyen de paiement, et d’apprécier le e-commerce.

Deux tiers des Français, et les trois quarts des moins de 44 ans, ont l’intention cette année d’acheter tout ou partie de leurs cadeaux de Noël sur internet. Ils le feront très ....

Home Depot says 53 million email addresses compromised during breach

Home Depot says that in addition to 56 million payment cards, the attackers responsible for the breach on their POS network earlier this year also compromised 53 million email addresses.

Thursday's breach investigation update also said the attackers leveraged a third-party vendor's username and password in order to access the network.

Global security breaches up 48 percent for 2014

The number of reported security incidents rose 48% to 42.8 million for 2014, the equivalent of 117,339 attacks per day, a recent survey shows.

According to the Global State of Information Security Survey 2015, a worldwide report by CIO, CSO, and PwC, the compound annual growth rate of detected security incidents has increased 66% year-over-year since 2009.

Kmart and Dairy Queen Report Data Breach

Dairy Queen and Kmart join nearly a dozen retailers that have had their in-store payment systems compromised with malware over the last year.
